Matteo Nichil is Senior Advisor at Mizzau & Partners and has over fifteen years of experience in international private equity. His focus areas include Private Equity, M&A and Deal Origination. At Mizzau & Partners, he contributes to private capital transactions and to growth and value-creation strategies.
He was Partner at Nextalia Flexible Capital, a fund focused on the Italian lower mid-market, and Principal at Stirling Square Capital Partners, a pan-European mid-market fund with over three billion euros of assets under management. In international markets, he led acquisitions, add-on transactions, disposals of majority and minority stakes, and structured financings. He also served as a board member in portfolio companies.
Previously, he was part of the M&A team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, focusing on infrastructure and telecommunications. He holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University and obtained an MSc in Mathematical Trading and Finance from Cass Business School in London.
