Marco Mizzau (Rome, 27 December 1977) is Chairman of Blacktrace, a London-based strategic advisory boutique, and co-founder of Mizzau & Partners, an independent strategic advisory platform. His work concerns decisions at the intersection of private capital, industrial transformation, infrastructure, governance and artificial intelligence.
He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Consip S.p.A., the national procurement authority of the Italian public administration and one of Europe's largest public procurement systems. During his mandate, he led the evolution of its operating model and digital infrastructure for public procurement, supporting transformation programmes at national scale. He also served as Director General of Inarcassa, one of Italy's leading institutional investors, coordinating its strategic management, operating model and investment instruments. He spent almost a decade at Accenture, EY and KPMG as a Senior Manager, working on strategic transformation, financial restructuring and digital innovation for groups active in energy, utilities, infrastructure and services, with projects across Europe, Turkey, Russia and the Middle East.
Today he advises private equity funds, institutional investors, entrepreneurs and industrial groups on growth strategies, governance, capital allocation and transformation. He operates across the industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, technology and healthcare sectors. At Mizzau & Partners, he contributes executive, transformation and strategic advisory experience.
